Instructure adds to video learning capabilities in Canvas with Acquisition

Instructure, the company behind the Canvas LMS has bought Practice, a video microlearning solution company.

Described as "a scalable means for teams to frequently practice skills and receive meaningful, timely feedback through the power of peer-to-peer video assessment and coaching", Instructure sees the Practice solutions as adding interactivity and feedback to their talent management and learning solutions

CloserStill Makes Third Acquisition of 2017 with Purchase of Online Educa Berlin

Since buying Bizmedia in 2014, the CloserStill appetite for acquisition has grown steadily which has allowed them to expand their product brand in the eLearning market, with the recent purchase of Online Educa Berlin adding not only the OEB Conference, but also allowing the launch of Learning Technologies Germany.

CallidusCloud Buys Learning Seat for $26m

Callidus Software, the US based cloud eLearning supplier have announced they're buying Australian adaptive training and compliance learning content provider Learning Seat, for $26.4 million.
