Following on from their recent acquisition of MediaCorp, Learning Pool have now announced a deal to buy HT2 Labs.
HT2 Labs may not be one of the bigger names in the eLearning marketplace, but with an emphasis on research instead sales, they will add significantly to the Learning Pool product range with Learning Locker (an open source and xAPI ready Learning Record Store) and Curatr (a Learning Experience Platform which helps you curate your learning "experiences").
With more than twelve thousand installations of Learning Locker, it's claimed to be the world’s most-installed Learning Record Store, whilst Curatr picked up gold for ‘Best advance in Social Learning’ in the Brandon Hall Group Excellence awards last year.
Learning Pool already have experience of working with HT2 Labs as they're a reseller of Learning Locker which is incorporated into the Learning Pool Headstream LXP.
Ben Betts, CEO at HT2 Labs, joins the executive team at Learning Pool as Chief Product Officer and will oversee the development of "Learning Pool Labs".
